THE LODGE
Gaia Amazon Eco Lodge is an ecological project of unique architecture, a singular combination of local construction knowledge, with a touch of contemporary comfort.
Its spaces are authentic designed to be luminous and airy, allowing you to feel a unique experience in the middle of the forest and its sounds, through which, you can find incredible views of the Napo River, observe birds and monkeys crossing, playing and jumping among the trees of the forest that surrounds us.
ROOMS
Gaia Amazon Lodge ‘s rooms and cabanas were carefully designed to provide comfort for our guests while preserving the ambiance of the environment. They are light and airy, naturally climatized with high ceilings and large windows.
Each of our cabanas/rooms has a veranda with hammocks which provide a relaxing dwelling to enjoy an eagle´s eye view of the river and the surrounding forest or listen the nocturnal chorus of the Amazon at night time.
The room can be mixed and matched to accommodate different group sizes

INFRAESTRUCTURE
The lodge combines rustic and modern aspects with low environmental impact, while the simplicity of details and creativity extend throughout its spaces. This settlement has a main building where we find the dinning room, restaurant, kitchen as well as the staff rooms. This social area has hammocks for your enjoyment besides a bar with snacks, cocktails, alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.
Our guest accommodation consists of three cabins with two independent rooms each, in single, double, triple and quadruple accommodation with a total capacity of 20 guests.

LOCATION
Gaia Lodge is located in the Ecuadorian Amazon Basin , one of the most biodiverse ecological zones in the world with enormous cultural richness. The location of our lodge was carefully chosen to ensure that our guests feel immersed in the natural environment of the rainforest. Our low-impact facilities have been designed to offer comfort and relaxed atmosphere, overall the lodge is strategically located overlooking the majestic Napo River and is surrounded by a cocoa tree plantation. Aditionally, the privileged landscape of the jungle, the river and the mountain offers our visitors a wide opportunity to enjoy the nuances of the rainforest from dawn to dusk.
Gaia is placed at only 4 kilometers east from the town of Ahuano, between the Napo River and the road that heads to Campanacocha. We can easily reach it both by boat or vehicule.
Ahuano is at only 45 minutes driving from Tena, the capital of Napo Province, and 4 hours away from Quito, the Capital city of Ecuador in South America.
